road & class ~ instruction by women ~ for women
The Women's Motorsports Foundation Seeks to bring advancement to women in and through motorsports by working to establish equal opportunities, salaries, media coverage & careers.
The foundation is dedicated to educating, mentoring, and inspiring women in motorsports. From first time riders and drivers to skilled racers
No matter how competitive a woman is among the men, gender discrimination in most sports deny women the opportunity to attain the highest level.
Motorsports are great fun and provide unmatched speed, power, precision and liberation. We hope that whatever your interest in motorsports, you will benefit from the work and passion of our Foundation and help support equal opportunity for women through motorsports events.
Motorsports are one of the few sporting events not relegated by gender. Motorsports are an excellent sports career opportunity for women and a great sporting event to follow for everyone who believes that women should be given equal opportunity.
Due to segregating by-laws of most sporting event federations, women are typically not permitted to compete against male competitors or compete for the highest prize money, salaries, awards or an overall points ranking.
